Tesla is launching an improved Autopilot system in the United States and China – Here are the new features.

The Enhanced Autopilot from Tesla, an electric vehicle company owned by Elon Musk, is available in the United States and China. According to Teslarati, in the United States the Enhanced Autopilot costs $6,000, while in China it costs around 31,970 yuan ($4,779). Features included in Enhanced Autopilot are Autopilot Navigation, Auto Lane Change, Auto Park, Summon, and Smart Summon. Earlier this month, Tesla launched Enhanced Autopilot in New Zealand and Australia. In New Zealand, the Enhanced Autopilot costs around $3,615, and in Australia, around $3,579. Enhanced Autopilot offers the same functionality in all four countries.

After the release of Improved Autopilot in New Zealand and Australia, Musk hinted that Tesla would consider re-releasing Improved Autopilot in other countries. Trevor Page, owner of Tesla, inquired about the Enhanced Autopilot program stating that “FSD is still too expensive for what you get”.

Currently, the Tesla Full Self-Driving (FSD) system costs $12,000 and offers all the functionality of Basic Autopilot and Enhanced Autopilot, plus control of traffic lights and stop signs.
