The study carried out by researchers from Counterpoint Research reveals that Samsung led the ranking of terminal sales in Europe in the first quarter of the year with a market share of 35%, which is 2% less than at the same time. period of the previous year and a decrease of 16% year on year.

The second place in this ranking is occupied by Apple, which only has a 25% share, but lost only 6% year-on-year and 1% compared to the same period of the previous year.

Regarding the outlook for the future, according to analysts from Counterpoint Research, they are not very encouraging, as they predict that the situation in the European mobile market will get worse before it gets better and that smartphone shipments will continue to decline in the years to come.
