Zapping Goal! soccer club Nantes: Newcastle, Marseille, Moses Simon is popular!
Randal Kolo Muani will undoubtedly leave a big void at FC Nantes. At the end of the season, the Canaries striker will leave the City of the Dukes to try a new challenge at Eintracht Frankfurt. A change in status which is pleasing to see so much the 23-year-old striker has known crossroads to explode at the highest level. The FC Nantes striker notably went through Stade Rennais, where, younger, Julien Stéphan did not retain him following an inconclusive try.
“My agent took me out of trials in Rennes, Nantes and Guingamp. Rennes, it went well, but the coach (Julien) Stéphan told me that they had a similar player, (Adama) Diakhaby, he remembered in L’Équipe Bon, I said d ‘deal. “Still without a bit of bitterness, Kolo Muani does not hold it against Waldemar Kita despite the often harsh words of the latter towards him regarding his departure from FC Nantes this summer.
“Me, frankly, it does not interest me, he continued. It’s his thought, I can’t say what he has to say. But I say thank you to him for what the club has done for me. I would have liked to go otherwise. When I really had nothing, it was Nantes who opened the door to me and gave everything. After that, that’s life. If we didn’t get along, so be it. And I think I did well to make that choice. Frankfurt is another springboard, a club that will try to push me a little more. I will face this new environment and, later, we will try to aim for the Premier League. »
