While the war in Ukraine has been raging for several months already, Tesla CEO Elon Musk has just left an astonishing message on Twitter. This one even evokes his “mysterious death”.
Tesla executive Elon Musk has responded to accusations allegedly leveled against him by Dmitry Rogozin, the head of Russia’s Roscosmos space agency. The American businessman suggests he may die “under mysterious circumstances” in a cryptic tweet he posted on Sunday evening. “If I die in mysterious circumstances, it was good to know you”the Tesla CEO wrote shortly after sharing a post from Rogozin that accused Musk of being “involved in supplying fascist forces in Ukraine”. Musk was rumored to be supplying military communications equipment. Rogozin added that “For this, Elon, you will be held responsible like an adult – no matter how crazy you play.”
Rogozin repeated the rumor which falsely claims that Russia’s invasion of Ukraine is linked to the “denazification” of their neighboring country. In his remarks, the Russian official claims that Starlink, a company run by Musk, delivered equipment to Ukraine and was assisted by the Pentagon. In effect, Musk tweeted in February that “Starlink service is now active in Ukraine. More terminals are coming ». The Washington Post reports that the US government paid millions of dollars to fund a significant portion of transportation and equipment costs.
Who is telling the truth?
Rogozin also said Musk would be “held accountable like an adult” for the alleged actions. The Starlink and Tesla boss responded by saying “the word Nazi doesn’t mean what he seems to think it means”. Musk’s message about his possible death was obviously in reference to the assassinations perpetrated by the Russian state. No one knows what this kind of message really means, but one thing is certain: Musk seems worried about his safety.
