The focal point of Honkai: Star Rail's latest journey is the Xianzhou Wardance and the battle against the borisin, a werewolf-like species that was the dominant race among the Denizens of Abundance. Playable Characters

Honkai: Star Rail has already revealed the next banner characters for Version 2.5: the 5-star Feixiao and Lingsha, and 4-star Moze. Known as the "Merlin's Claw," Feixiao is the tough Arbiter-General of the Xianzhou Yaoqing, and she will be a Wind-type The Hunt character. Lingsha, a Vidyadhara healer from the Alchemy Commission, will be a Fire-type Abundance character. Meanwhile, the mysterious Moze, who is a messenger from the Xianzhou Zhuming, will be a Lightning-type The Hunt character.

It's rumored that Feixiao will be released in the first phase, while Lingsha will be in the second. There's no news yet as to which phase Moze will be included in, but it's likely he'll be in the second based on previous banners.

Rumored Rerun and Returning Characters

There are rumors that Dr. Ratio and Black Swan might have a rerun in Honkai: Star Rail Version 2.5. It's said that Black Swan will join Feixiao's release and Dr. Ratio will be with Lingsha, but of course, the rerun characters could still change down the line.

There had also been leaks about characters returning in Honkai: Star Rail's main story and limited-time events. The biggest rumored return is Tingyun, who's believed to have died at the hands of Phantylia the Undying. Some Version 2.5 leaks suggest that the Foxian character will show up again in the main story with a new look, fueling speculations that she might get a 5-star variant. Another rumored return is Silver Wolf, who's said to be appearing in an upcoming limited-time event.

New Light Cones Planar Ornaments

Honkai: Star Rail players can make their characters stronger with rumored new Light Cones and Planar Ornament sets coming to Version 2.5. The Light Cones are most likely the signature items of the banner characters, which help raise their stats for maximum power.

The Long-Awaited Pet Feature

According to leaks, Honkai: Star Rail might finally release a pet companion feature in Version 2.5. Gameplay leaks on Reddit revealed a new pet called Tuskpir, a small pink tapir that follows the player around and is said to have a feature that triggers "Combat Scenario Training." It's still unknown if Tuskpir will be a permanent pet that players can bring everywhere or if they will be a temporary mission companion just like Peppy and Diting.

Powerful Boss Battles

Honkai: Star Rail leaks suggest that Version 2.5 will feature powerful boss battles in the form of Borisin Warhead: Hoolay, Desperate Diceroller, Feixiao, and Phantylia the Undying. The Borisin Warhead is expected because he was introduced in Version 2.4, and many players are expecting a big battle against him in the main story. Feixiao might also be a main story boss battle, but it's still unknown why the Trailblazer would battle her.

Meanwhile, Desperate Diceroller, aka Aventurine's alternate form, and Phantylia the Undying might be the next Apocalyptic Shadow bosses for Honkai: Star Rail Version 2.5. Considering that the game mode cycles through two different bosses that the Trailblazer has already faced, this is a big possibility.
