We continue to provide the very best care to our patient families close to home, when and where they need it most. As part of our commitment to making life better for children, we are excited to offer innovative treatments such as a new therapy, available at our Plano campus, that can delay the onset of Stage 3 type 1 diabetes. Watch how our Endocrinology team has supported Jessi and her children through their journey with type 1 diabetes. #IncredibleTogether

It’s nice to have a friend, and there was no shortage when patients got together to make bejeweled friendship bracelets! A great time was had by all who joined us in celebrating #NationalFriendshipDay.

It's with heavy hearts we share that our beloved Badger, one of our facility dogs, passed away from complications due to cancer. Badger joined our Children’s Health family in 2016 when he was 2, and provided endless snuggles and support to countless number of patients, families and team members. Throughout his 8 years, he served in the Heart Center, Solid Organ Transplant, Palliative Care and as a part of the RISE team. Badger also welcomed our new team members as the "spokesdog" in introducing family support services. Badger had the unique ability to make others smile with comfort and love. We are appreciative of the beautiful memories his presence gave us over the years. Please join us in celebrating Badger and his service to our patients and team members. ❤️
