Gone are the days of casually idling in Fortnite Creative to earn heaps of XP by doing absolutely nothing. Mostly. While the amount of XP gained in Creative has been significantly reduced and now has a daily soft cap of around 200,000, there are plenty of maps out there to earn some quick and easy XP.

As the XP you earn begins to degrade the more you play a map, you’ll have to switch between the Creative maps featured in this list to reach the XP needed to earn your favorite Battle Pass skins. From AFK maps to simplistic but fun game modes, these are the best Fortnite Creative XP maps and their Island Codes.
Best Creative Maps for Earning XP in Fortnite
EZ 1v1 Build Fight — 0477-7793-3596
EZ 1v1 Build Fight (0477-7793-3596) is by far the best Creative map for earning XP in Fortnite. In this map, you can earn XP passively and access a room full of simple XP-filled activities.
Enter EZ 1v1 Build Fight as a Private Game. As soon as the ten-second timer has finished, walk up the stairs to the left and approach the green XP shop button on the wall. Teleport and walk over to the Tomato Head on the right. Interact with the ‘AFK XP BUTTON‘ to earn passive XP without lifting a finger.
While your XP slowly rises, you can also complete the following activities in this room for bonus XP:
- Break Tomato Head for 735 XP.
- Destroy a mannequin
- Kill a chicken or eliminate one into the arena to a more significant chunk.
- Fish for metal.
- Trade metal for XP.
- Press the HUGE XP BUTTON for a large chunk of XP every half hour.
- In a public game, you can trade coins from eliminating players for XP.
Zombieland
What do you get when you cross an endless swarm of zombies with unlimited ammo? Heaps of XP! Enter Zombieland (9369-6922-8408), pick up a Sideways Scythe, and slash as many zombies as possible. You earn XP for every one you kill.
This method works with any weapon, but the Sideways Scythe hits a large area and requires no reloading, making it the fastest way of earning XP.

500 Levels Default Death Run — 3715-3510-4207
You’ll earn XP as you dash through the dangerous levels of the 500 Levels Default Deathrun (3715-3510-4207) map. Coins that reward XP can be found in abundance in this Death Run map, and you’ll earn bonus XP from hitting certain milestones.
Your progress is also auto-saved, meaning you can return to your place the following day once your daily soft cap has been reset. Remember to feather in and out of traps to set them off and then dash through.
Escape The World Parkour — 6831-5416-6480
Escape The World Parkour (6831-5416-6480) is an incredibly popular Creative map that Epic has even featured in the past. You’ll earn XP for every single obstacle you successfully conquer, which soon adds up.
While the word ‘parkour’ may seem daunting, most Escape the World Parkour levels are simple and near-effortless to complete.
Mega Ramp Flakes Power — 7475-7999-6836
Hop into a vehicle and collect coins to earn XP in Mega Ramp Flakes Power (7475-7999-6836). Choose a regular car and enter the ANY VEHICLE track or hop on a motorcycle and enter the MOTORCYCLES ONLY track. You earn XP for every coin you collect — and there are a lot of coins.
Deadpines: Zombie Survival — 0598-1708-7538
Deadpines: Zombie Survival (0598-1708-7538) is an excellent map for players wanting to earn XP in an enjoyable and engaging way. You’ll earn XP from every zombie you slay in this cooperative survival adventure. You can also spend the coins you earn from your eliminations on XP or upgrades to make your zombie killing that much easier.
75 Levels Motorcycle Deathrun — 6562-2122-0969
Another entertaining map for earning XP is 75 Levels Motorcycle Deathrun (6562-2122-0969). You’ve undoubtedly seen many vehicle-based deathruns on your Discovery tab while playing Fortnite, but this is one of the best of its kind.
There are coins that reward considerable XP scattered throughout all 75 levels with fast respawns and checkpoints. If you want to earn XP outside of Battle Royale and have a blast doing so, 75 Levels Motorcycle Deathrun is for you.
Fortnite Creative XP Soft Cap Explained
After earning approximately 200,000 XP in a single day through Creative maps in Fortnite, the XP you earn will rapidly decrease. This is to prevent players from abusing XP-heavy maps to level up at incredibly fast rates.
This “soft cap” will reset at the beginning of each daily reset, which occurs at the same time as Daily Quests and the Item Shop refresh. As far as we know, there is no current hard cap on how much XP you can earn daily.
If you’ve noticed you’re no longer earning XP, this could be due to Epic Games disabling XP gain on specific maps they consider exploitative. This is why many well-known ‘AFK XP’ methods no longer work.
