Update: the public beta is available. See in this article how to install a public beta.
Last night, Apple rolled out the fourth beta version of the next iOS 15.5 update. New Beta 4 have also been sent, for iPadOS 15.5, watchOS 8.6, HomePodOS 15.5 and tvOS 15.5. At this time, only users enrolled in the Developer Beta Program can try these updates.
As we saw there, iOS 15.5 should bring some interesting changes. This is what the first beta shows anyway, as well as the third beta released last week. This notably came with the functionality Sensitive placesfor Photos, which wants to prevent photos and videos taken in certain locations from appearing in Memories.
The second beta version was only corrective. And for the moment, like beta 2, this beta 4 does not seem to be a game changer either. It should be a priori only bug fixes and performance and security improvements. If you spot something new, please let us know in the comments to this article.
Note that macOS is also evolving and moving to version 12.4 beta 4. Finally, find all our articles about iOS 15 here.
