Since the beginning of April, a new catering offer has emerged in the Mounede Castlelocated in the neighborhood Basso Camboto Toulouse.

The Monediers– that’s the name of this new restaurant – welcomes customers for lunch throughout the week.

A place steeped in history

“This name is a tribute to the historic inhabitants of the castle of Mounède, says Jeremiah Moles who manages the place. Initially it was a family of farmers, their descendants obtained the right to mint coins and became monédiers. We wanted to be part of the history of the Château de la Mounède by choosing this name. »

For several years, the Château de la Mounède has been managed by the Departmental Association of Public Education Pupils of the Haute Garonne (AD PEP 31). A international residence center is hosted in the premises.

“The association contacted us so that we could manage the catering offer which is offered in the evening to groups residing at the château, details Jérémie Moles who already manages several restaurants in the Pink City, such as Cantine & mess, Miss Fish or even Poliki Poliki. We said ok, but we also want to open the restaurant for lunch for people who work in the Basso Cambo area. »
